So I'm pretty familiar with this feeling. We were TTC for a year before with no success before we had to take a break and we started trying again last month and I just had my first AF since. Forgot how crushing the disappointment could be tbh. Really scared that I'm in for a long journey again and just feeling low. Sorry for this thread, just felt like a vent. Anyone else feeling blue today? Maybe we could cheer each other up!

Hi kitttiecat

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so blue :hugs:Me and Dh had only been trying for 7/8 months (had 1 early mc) and I am already starting to feel down about it all. Have you seen your GP yet? The advice is that you can seek help after a year, however this may vary in areas as I know mine will not give any support until it has been 15 months.
As for taking a break, I think it is good to have that time away, but like you say the disappointment of getting AF is definitely not easy.
:flower:

It was 2 years ago we last tried so I don't know if my GP would listen to me. But I have irregular cycles so I might go about that anyone and mention that we are TTC again and that we tried before with no success and see what they say. But I'm waiting till after our wedding in April as can't really handle any more stress atm

I would definitely see you GP especially if your cycles are irregular, just to rule anything out. Congratulations on you upcoming wedding! How exciting! :happydance: Definitely a good idea to focus on the wedding first, as they can be very stressful indeed. Hope you have a fab day!

Kittiecat--

I know how devastating the BFN's are. Chin up. It will happen for us. I'm feeling a little blue today too. We all have each other though to lean on :)

Right there with you. Every month I think it's finally going to be my turn, but one year and two losses later each month brings more sadness. It's okay to be sad...I think it's just part of the journey we are on.

I totally understand, and have been ttc for much less time and already feel that way. I'm half way through the tww right now and dreading testing. I don't want it to be another bfn:(

Thanks ladies. I feel a bit better now. We are taking a NTNP approach the next couple of cycles as I'm pretty distracted with wedding planning now with under 8 weeks to go till we get married and don't want TTC stress to dampen that. Hoping a more relaxed approach may bring a surprise bfp! You never know!

Oh hun :hugs: I could honestly write a post like this every single month. I completely feel you :( it's so hard. This is my 7th cycle. I have been pregnant before with an ex partner back when my cycles were 28 days, sadly it ended in a MMC and soon after went back on the pill after breaking up with the (would of been) father of baby. Since finding my fiancé and coming off the pill, my cycles are now 35 days and I'm worried it's causing problems because it hasn't happened in 7 cycles (plus my fiancé has no kids so I'm worried he has fertility issues). There are SO many worries when it comes to ttc, plus my fertile window takes so long to come around each month as my cycles are so long. It sucks and it is truly draining. Just know you're not alone, message me any time for a chat if you want x

I am sailing in the same boat as you all! TTC from last 10 months and its soo frustrating! Diagnosed with pcos! No meds till now but starting Femara this month! Witch arrived today and I am sooo depressed! Feels like this is gonna take for ever and I cant wait any longer! Its crazY!!!! More so when you see soo many friends and family around getting pregnant easily.. having beautiful babies!

WE WILL SAIL THROUGH! 'HOPE' IS THE ONLY HOPE..!
Good luck Ladies!
