feeling disapointed

I really thought that it was happening last night.
I was contarcting from 2, and at 6 they started to coming every 5 minutes. I took paracetamol at 6:45 that helped take the edge off and they were getting stronger. I phoned and explained that the pains were not too bad and they wanted me in anyway. I had an examination and a sweep while she was there and sent home, to come back when things really kick off.
I was sleepy to went to bed, still in a lot of pain but eventually fell alseep. Woke up this morning, and nothing, arrrrrgh!! its all stopped I cannt believe it. I am so disapointed, was so excited last night

That must be so disappointing, but try not to be too down about it as I have heard many ladies saying that the same has happened to them, for them to then go into labour within a couple of days. It could be your body having a practice run and getting things started.

[SECOND TIMER]

This is how mine started hun it was on and off for a few days and then after an examination and sweep contractions totally stopped, woke next morning with slight contractions on and off all day went to bed and bam 3 oclock in the morning full on contractions and my little girl was born 5 hours later good luck sweetie wont be long now xx

That is really common with second babies it seems. I have read of several moms lately who have been contracting at night then when it is morning it stops. You are soooo close!
