feeling frustrated

About 3 months ago I had a second miscarriage at 17weeks. I tested a month ago with an answer test and it was negative. I just wanted to know if the hcg is out of my system. Ive been ttc since then.

Well.. 3 days ago i tested with frer and got an extremely faint line. Wasnt sure if my eyes were messing with me. Yesterday i tested again and got a slightly darker faint line. I also started spotting brown/ pink. Today i tested with a frer and i can see the line but its still faint. Idk if somehow its still hcg left over or im actually pregnant.

Im waiting for a dark line before i call my doctor. It doesnt have to be super dark. I dont want to go to the office just to get a faint line that shows up after 4 minutes. The nurse only waits for a minute when testing..

I'm so sorry for your loss, IndieGirl.

Could you try taking a digi (that will keep its "pregnant" on the screen for ~6 months) to take to the doctor to show them, at least to convince them to do bloodwork or something? How many dpo are - if it's still early, I'd guess you'll probably get a darker line in a few more days. But depending on the batch of tests and such, I know some people never get a super dark line even when they have high HCG.

I'm in a sort of similar situation - CP last month, took multiple negative tests after it to make sure, then had a hint of a line on an IC cheapy this morning at 8dpo. Now I'm just waiting to see if it turns into a real line.

I can clearly see a line now. But digital test says not pregnant. I'm hoping for a darker line tomorrow.

Hi, I had a miscarriage at 7.5 weeks and ERPC at 12 weeks as HCG carried on rising. I got positive pregnancy tests for about 3 weeks following my surgery. I would ask your doc to do bloods for a few days to see if it's rising or declining maybe. After 3 months I can't imagine any pregnancy hormone being in your system especially if you've had a period since. I'm sorry for your losses and it does sound like good news for you, I've heard you're super fertile following miscarriage.

Last time it took a year and a half after my first miscarriage at 19 weeks to concieve again. I took a test with fmu and it looked negative. I took another test a few hours later and got a decent line. I called my dr and made an appointment. I really hope that nothing goes wrong this time.

Doc said when i get pregnant again i'll need to get a cerclage done at 13 weeks.
