feeling guilty: ate taco bell!

I keep seeing on Pinterest all these freezer meal ideas to prep before baby comes, where on earth are we supposed to dig up the energy to make these??? Lol

right there with you on this one. I've been visiting 3rd trimester and many women are talking about making these. I can't even fathom how I'm supposed to have time to do that and work til delivery! Also are these meals supposed to be for us or whole family? If it is just us on maternity leave then I say sandwiches and fruit it is for me!!

I did manage to do the freezer meals last time, not sure how looking back :) But they were a godsend. I ended up having an emcs and Oh can't boil water so we would have starved lol.

Ive also eaten a shameful amount of fast food this pregnancy! We ordered dominos Saturday and had a take away kebab last night.
i wouldn't worry about it! Everything in moderation is totally fine(in obviously not good at moderation lol)

also on terms of cooking, if i don't cook we don't eat or have no choice but to order food as my OH cant/doesnt cook. In 8 years he has made me a slice of toast once :(
my eldest daughter was hilarious the other day as me and OH were in a disagreement and i said geez, i might just run off!" to which our daughter yells "No mummy, you cant leave! Daddy cant cook! :'(" me and OH just burst out laughing.

When I first got pregnant, I wanted Taco Bell all the time! I do still want it every now and then. It's kinda tough when there is one within walking distance lol! I just LOVE those cheesy gordita crunch things!

 The best reason to stay!

The only time I feel bad about eating Taco Bell is when it goes right through me. :loo:

Otherwise, I eat fast food in moderation and when I really crave it, just like before I was pregnant.

Ha ha this made me laugh because I at a bean burrito with sour cream from taco bell the other day because we were on the road and I was starving. I don't think I've had taco bell or other fast food (besides pizza) since before I was pregnant with dd. I felt soooo guilty afterward because I had never eaten any with dd. It sure tasted good though  I'm not a fan of typical fast food places, but I'm sure they are fine in moderation!

I was very healthy before this pregnancy..... Very into my whole foods and organics.... Anti fast foods..... And then I developed hyperemesis ..... Absolutely nothing stayed down ever...... I could just look at greens such as spinach or lettuce and instantly gag myself into a puke session.... When I was able to eat anything besides crackers it was either pizza , or Taco Bell....... That is literally all I ate for 6 wks straight...... One or the other almost daily...... An occasional dry wheat toast with peanut butter or a banana would squeeze in there ....... I was so upset and depressed and ashamed of myself but my dr reassured me its not what I'm eating its how much stays down..... He said as long as I'm at a healthy weight there's absolutely no concern for baby or me..... Lol ok fine..... I'll just eat what sounds good then..... It's better that extra puke sessions!!!

I've had morning (all day) sickness since 6 weeks so have to eat what sounds good at the time. I think I've cooked about 5 meals in total. Luckily my MIL has cooked for us quite a bit and hubby has cooked a few times too. We've had a few take outs but not loads. I seem to have a thing about scrambled egg on toast at the minute!

Ya, with hyperemesis, I'd be damn proud and relieved if I could eat a whole taco bell taco. Food guilt is so not part of my world. If I can eat it, I eat it and am grateful.

I wish I had the luxury of only eating healthy. Hell, I wish I had the luxury of eating, period.
