Feeling sick not eating much... I feel like I'm failing my baby

Sorry its so long but im a tad worried. I have been feeling horrible for 2 days. I'm always sick. With my son I was sick until I was 7 months. He was perfectly fine healthy and he is now a very intelligent handsome ready for Kindergarten 5 year old. This pregnancy has been almost the exact same. This time though unlike with my oldest I've tried to take Zofran well ladies it doesn't work much. In my 1st tri I wasn't to worried but I'll be 17 weeks Tuesday and I worry. I know I'm hungry bc for the split second the nausea passes I'm hungry. I can feel the hunger. Today was not a good eating day. I ate some French bread yogurt cherries and some roasted chicken corn and mashed potatoes. I could barely get down 2 bottles of water. I feel like my baby won't weight like he should. My doc isn't to worried but idk. I really wish I could eat more but some days I cant. Oh I'd like to add i have a home doppler so when i feel weird or sad i check on him his heart beat today was strong and he was moving up a storm. Anyone been through this?

The Dr probably isn't worried because babies don't start putting on weight subcutaneous fat until mid of second trimester.
