Hi hun - I feel so sorry for you :(

I had sickness in all 3 pregnancies, particularly badly with my girl - BUT, it did gradually ease off from around 15wks, and stopped pretty much altogether at 20wks. I cannot imagine how hideous it must be to have it all the way thru. Even in my twin pregnancy, it ended at 16wks, and tho I felt sick all day, I was only sick a few times a week.

Here's a top tip I discovered in my last pregnancy - chewing gum!!! I chewed from the moment I stepped out of bed til mid afternoon. 9 times out of ten it stopped me actually being sick, try it....the sugar free kind. Man of my friends took my lead, and now swear by it as a cure.

I only hope your baby comes soon hun, and your misery can end. Sending hugs your way xxx

:hugs: I was exactly the same. They kept talking about induction from 37weeks and I kept getting my hopes up but in the end they wouldn't do it :(

I really feel for you, because I know the hell you're going through. I weighed less when they weighed me in the delivery room than before I got pregnant xx

Hi :flower: I feel your pain I started being sick dizzy etc a week before I even knew thats what made me test  and like you ive been sick every single day and see no end to it thats me 30 weeks now and still constanly feeling nauseated and spewing at least 1 time a day , ive been off sick with hypermisis for 15 weeks from work and have took my maternity leave early at 29 weeks because I wont be making it back, It's a nightmare and gets me very very down somedays as I have 2 other kids a 12yr old and a 6yr old and a hubby who works shifts so im left to all of the housework shopping etc .I am very luck my consultant agreed to induce me at 38 weeks all you can do is appeal to him/her and if not then you know it will soon be over and forgotten about when we are holding our babies :hugs:

Hey, I totally understand. That's why I lost my first 2 actually. I lost so much weight...about 40 lbs over 7 weeks and everything made me nauseous. I was headed that way this time too, but went in every 3 days for iv fluids for the first 13 weeks and had to get a couple refills of a potassium iv once around 12 weeks. Luckily it started to ease up this time around 15 weeks, but I totally feel for you. Hope things go by quickly for you , being so close to the end! Have you heard of helpHER.org? It's a forum specifically for those of us who have hyperemesis and has been an invaluable source of comfort since I got pregnant this time. :hugs:

huge huge hugs hun,

i had bad sickness with my first 2 lo's then on my 3rd i got diagnosed with hyperemesis and was drip riliant for a long long time, the meds didnt work, it was awful. im now expecting number 4, and have it all over again, the meds arnt working , trips to hospital for drips and not having any energy round the clock. i know exactly how u feel, and hope its over for u soon xxxx

I was so sick with this nausea and vomiting during the first 20 weeks that I had to be infused fluids on four occasions and was admitted for a couple of days each time. So every time I went to the hospital, I would become fine, but the moment I returned back home, my nausea and vomiting would start again. I tried everything, eating dry toast in the morning, to consuming plenty of dried citrus fruits to medicines like pyridoxine and doxinate, but none seemed to help. And finally one fine day around 20 weeks the nausea and vomiting disappeared. All by itself without a trace. What a relief it was. I just hope that you gals also recover from hyperemesis.

just had yet another trip for fluids, its so great to know theres other people going through the same. i thought i had it worse last time but now im seriously thinking its worse. x

Oh God, I REALLY REALLY feel for you. I had such severe hyperemasis with my first that I was case studied for a medical journal!! :haha:

I've been on lots of different meds for it, but the only thing that works is being admitted for a IV drip. Things weren't so bad with my second, well I was still nauseous every day just not physically sick every day, although I was still really sick through the labour, but was on Cyclozine this time round which seemed to be more effective than previous meds.

Just keep your chin up and keep thinking about the day you get to hold your baby and know that you won't feel sick any more. Best feeling in the world :)
