I left a message with my midwife last night to call me back as for about 2 weeks ive felt wet and am a bit worried about constant discharge.
She called me this morning and asked does it smell? no, is it dripping? no, is it like egg white? no are you in pain? no its not even a lot in my pants, jsut making me feel wet down there....
she said it sounds normal and if I was leaking amniotic fluid it would have turned infected by now and I would know. She said you can feel the baby moving ok cant you? I felt awful as I had to reply no, I cant feel it moving yet
I dont see anyone now until my 23 week ultrasound (Im 18 weeks so thats 5 weeks away) and she said she will come over on Sunday to listen to a heartbeat and re-assure me! I didnt know midwifes did that!!!
I never had a proper 16 week appointment so I never got to hear the heartbeat at that point (I saw a consultation at 15 weeks and 17 weeks instead due to cervix and blood result issues at the time)
Im giving it until next week and if I still have the discharge then Im going up to A&E to be referred to EPAU to get the discharge checked
