Femara/Clomid question

If you have taken either femara or clomid...

What was the reason your dr prescribed it?
Did they have to do ny special tests before they would prescribe it?

My dr keeps giving me tests, finding things wrong, but then tells me it wont effect anything. Im interested in trying other options.

It really depends on the doctor as well as your diagnosis, I think. I know my doctor put me on it when my first cycle ttc lasted 61 days and I didn't ovulate. I've heard some doctors want you to be trying for "x" amount of time first.

Im on my 11th month, have endometreosis, possible pcos. Dh has low average sperm. One tube is 90% blocked. The specialist only assumes I ovulate every month based on the fact that my cycles ars always about 27 days. They have never even tested my blood to confirm or check my hormones
