Femara (letrozole) after recurrent early loss-

Hi ladies- after taking a 1 cycle break from ttc (which felt like FOREVER because it was 43 days), I'm beginning my first medicated cycle.

I had 3 chemical pregnancies in 3 cycles between Nov '13 and Feb '14. It sucked. I went to the doctor, and she didn't perform any kind of tests- just rx'd 5mg letrozole (cd 5-9) and progesterone (cd 14 on... but I may wait a few days if i haven't ovulated yet).

I was wondering if anyone else is currently taking it, or if anyone has been in a similar situation and could share stories / advice on it!

Hopefully this time I'll ovulate before CD 30! Also hoping this time it'll actually stick... We don't seem to have much of a problem getting that BFP- implantation, well, that's a totally different story! (doc hopes this will give me a better quality egg- says cd 30 isn't "real ovulation")

I have bad PCOS so my doctor gave me femara my first cycle trying. Well I'm also gay and trying myself so I don't have the luxury of BDing every other day and whatnot. But anyway I got pregnant my first cycle using it. Unfortunately had a MMC. But I plan to use it again next cycle.

Currently experiencing my 3rd chemical, going to yet another consultants on monday as been ttc for 2 years so having difficulty getting the bfp and difficulty keeping it. So I will be stalking to see how u get on. X

I got prescribed clomid after 3 as I was Also LTTTC by that point (one chemical, one molar, one early, spanning about 2 years or so) conceived my ds1 on the first round, didn't take any supplemental hormones or anything and he stuck until I was induced due to pre e. No idea if it was luck or timing or the clomid, but my second baby is also clomid. Good luck, hope it works for you!! X

thanks ladies- took my first pill today (ok so might have started a day early since dh is leaving the country in less than 3 weeks, and i'd been averaging o day 30)... guess we'll see how this goes!

Just to follow up- I think I O'd on CD 21 (if not then, it was CD 18)- much better than the usual CD 29/30. I just got a (faint) BFP at what I believe is 9 dpo... but I'm still scared to death it's going to be gone in the next few days like my last few! (we'll see if progesterone helps this time!)
