Fentons procedure/ Dilators?

A while ago my gynae consultant offered me the fentons procedure, i had been stitched up too tightly down there after the forceps delivery. Over time it has become more bearable but now I have gone back and asked for it to be done, he has prescribed me dilators instead??

He says give them 4 months at least to work.

Just wondering if anyone has used either of these techniques to make sex more bearable?

Picking up the Dilators from the Chemist tommorow. Will let you now how I get on! They look like really boring dildos haha.
