I was curious of something. As I am eleven weeks pregnant, I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this.
I have two ferrets that I do not plan on getting rid of, both of which I keep very clean, keep their cage very clean, take them to the vet, give them ferret vitamins, etc, and they are in great health. I did some reading and I know that I have to be a little careful of cleaning the cage while pregnant, and I know that they are not toxic to pregnant women, but I was wondering, when my baby comes, and I plan on being very safe about this, about how long should i wait to introduce my baby to my ferrets? Or when are their immune systems built up enough to play with them or be in the same room as their cage?
