Ferrex 150mg - anyone taking this iron supplement?

Hi ladies. I just found out from a blood test on Friday that I am a little bit anemic. I am 28 weeks and 3 days today. The nurse called and told me to take 150 mg of ferrex daily and switch back to taking my prenatals as I had switched to childrens vitamins during my first trimester and never went back to my prenatals. The childrens vitamins contain no iron.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has been told to take ferrex. It is over-the-counter but I am a little concerned of course because there's a warning to consult a doctor first if pregnant or breastfeeding!
