ferrous sulphate and pregnacare

does anyone know if these two are safe to take together? My midwife prescribed the iron for me because my hb levels were too low , but i forgot to ask if it was ok to. Surlex it is if my iron levels aren't right but my oh gr worried i.ll overdose on iron which i.ve read gr bad to have too much of when pregnant . X

hey Hun I'm on 3 ferrous sulphate a day plus I still take pregnacare. I've asked 2 midwives and both say it's fine to take all. Just remember to drink plenty to avoid constipation! I've got milk cravings so my 2 pints a day really helps!! X

Yeah its fine, the pregnacare obviously arnt giving you enough iron so you wont overdose taking them.

I took both and was fine x
