Anyone going in for a consult soon? Or just had a consult and starting the first step?

I'd like to get a group going for us!

Hi brittany12,
Good luck at your consult! My diagnosis is also "unexplained". I do not ovulate regularly for unknown reasons.
I have a consult with my FS on April 30th. It is not my first consult though. I have been on 3 rounds of clomid, had a few months break and am now going on 3 more rounds of clomid. BUT I am on an anovulatory cycle I think, am on cd 43 and my period is MIA. I had bloodwork done yesterday to determine what my hormones are doing, and they will either start me on provera to get my period going, or they will start me on clomid mid cycle...which seems odd to me but I'll do whatever they tell me to do I guess.
Best of luck to you!

Thanks! I actually ovulate on my own every month between cd 16 and 20 so no issues there although just to try it I did 3 rounds of clomid too which moved up ovulation to cd 13/14 but didn't work. Also had hsg done which came back normal and tube open. Do have a retroverted uterus though. DH SA was normal. My LP is good. So we don't really have a clue.
This cycle though I'm like you cd 35 and AF is Mia since I haven't ovulated yet. I was sick for like 3 weeks with colds and stomach bug so we think that's why.
But I'm kinda nervous about the consultation and scared I'll hear you need ivf. And ivf is just something we can't afford at all.

Good luck with your next couple of clomid rounds! Keep me updated!

Your doctor may suggest an iui first? Or maybe more clomid rounds, maybe with iui. Keep me posted in how it goes:)
I was proud of myself for being positive and happy about things the last few weeks, but this last week I've been feeling so down. Maybe it's because everyone around me is pregnant it seems. Do you have ups and downs in terms of getting through this time? I hope I can stay more positive when I start cycling again.
Let me know how things go for you, hopefully we both ovulate soon!

well since they don't except our insurance and our insurance would only cover the testing anyway I have kind of discussed with the financial person there and doing a natural IUI would only be $400 including the sperm wash. So if she suggests IUI I'm going for that first most likely. Especially since I ovulate fine and on my own. I just don't see the point of jumping straight to the point with injectables for me when ovulation isn't the issue and clomid didn't do anything.

If she tried to make me do clomid again and time bd I wont do it. We did it for 3 cycles and it didn't work. I don't want to wast anymore time on that. So i'll just have to see what she says at the consult.

I have my ups and downs EVERY cycle. I usually start off in an "I don't care" mood then I'm excited and happy during ovulation and the first week of the tww and then by the last week of the tww and when AF comes I'm so ticked off and mad at the world. So I get it. Not to mention when your ttc it is like everyone and their momma gets pregnant.
