Fertility referral

Im writing this on behalf of my sister. She's 29, has no children and been ttc for over a year. She went to her doctor who did bloods (turns our she is anaemic so was given iron tablets) She was asked to come back for day 21 bloods and a referral was also sent to the fertility clinic. She is unsure of her cycle as she hasnt had a period in 4 months.

Can anyone share how long it took them to hear from the clinic? Was it with an appointment or just an acknowledgment letter. Her doctor said it would be only a couple of weeks but its been over a month and she hasnt heard anything at all.

Just want to help her as much as i can. I've given her as much info as i know from being a nurse but think personal experiences would help her better xxx

For me I was referred in July.. I had my first appointment this month and it was just questions and making a plan for me..
