Just to add ladies, I've just had a thought (dangerous I know ):
Docs seem to do the blood test for progesterone at CD21 (assuming a 28 day cycle and ov on CD14). So - 7dpo! This therefore seems to point to progesterone, which maintains the womb lining, being strongest around 7dpo Therefore suggesting that after this time progesterone starts to drop, therefore meaning the womb lining possibly does start to deteriorate from then. This would support No 1 in the list
