Hi lovely ladies! I'm jumping over a little early with a question I thought might be more easily answered in 2nd tri 😊
I got the sonoline fetal monitor (just for a bit of fun and entertainment!) and I've found the baby's heart beat (right in the middle on my c section scar). I'm curious to find where my placenta is now! I can hear a whooshing sound on both sides on the baby.
Does anyone know is just one of the sounds the placenta and the other an artery or can the placenta be spread across both sides?
Thank you for reading!! 😀
Hope you are all feeling great and having a lovely 2nd tri 👍🏻

The wooshing sound on both sides is the blood flowing through the arteries. You have two big arteries on either side. Which is why you can pick it up. But from from ive read is that if there is a wooshing sound really close to baby its probably the placenta. But it all depends on where it is located.

Thanks orionfox! It's so fun using it! I'll keep playing around and see if I can hear a different sound that might be the placenta. 👍🏻

I always find my placenta just above baby, also baby always like to hang out on my right side. Only once have I found her on my left but then she moved back over to the right x

Thanks charliekay! My little bean is usually hanging out right in the middle, guess he/she hasn't chosen a side yet! Was your little girl on your right side when you were around 13 weeks?
