I have just had my 2nd scan this morning. My dr said that I have a few fibroids on my uterus. One is only 3cms, but the other is 12cmx13cm, so quite large. She said that fibroids are quite common and the hormones can cause them to grow during pregnancy. She didn't see the fibroid last scan (4 wks ago), so it has grown rather rapidly. Both are growing at the top of my uterus (hence why I look so large for my dates) so shouldn't cause a problem during the birth, but I'm still terrified that they could cause problems either during the rest of my pregnancy or after. Has anyone else had fibroids during pregnancy and come thru fine?? Other than those, baby looks great and is a real wriggler!
