I am over the moon right now, for the first time in 3 years I finally had my first 28 day cycle! There's only one thing I changed in my life.. I gave up the Monsters and Redbull! I was drinking that stuff 3-4 times a month. I gave them up a few months ago as I was going through process of ilimination as to why I was so irregular going from 22 day cycles and then suddenly 36 day cycles. I didn't realize until now just how bad that stuff really affects your monthly cycle. That does not automatically give us hope as DH and I both have female and male factor infertility but any sign of improvement is awesome! Seriously I used to love Redbull and Monster but seeing as how it actually medically affected me, I now see a big red cross on them. Anyone ever give up something that they consume in the daily lives that made a drastic change?

I basically gave up alcohol many months ago, with only the occasional glass of wine before ovulation. This month I gave up caffeine which was WAY hard. I only have it in my morning coffee, not a soda drinker at all, but it was a real withdrawal, headaches and all! I switched to a white tea with basically no caffeine. It remains to be seen whether it helped!

BTW congrats on the 28 day cycle, that sounds like progress!

Thats great news!

My DP and I have given up alcohol (apart from the occassional glass of wine for me ) and because of hard dieting, nearly all fatty and sugary foods. We have been on our diets since the 28th May when we met with the FS.

Most of the time its fine, I do get the odd day when I crave for pizza or chinese or fish and chips but then DP reminds me that we have the rest of our lives to eat fish and chips and the cravings seem to pass!

I have never drunk energy drinks (apart from one night in pub a few months back when we were a bit squiffy and ended up drinking something called Skittle Bombs :drunk:) but I think if you can manage without them then great if its having a positive effect :flower:

Same here have changed to a healthier lifestyle not just for TTC but also for better over all health.. been drug and alcohol free for 4 years, cigarette free for 5 months, energy drink free for 3 months.. the only thing I hang on to though is my morning coffee, the world would shatter if I was no longer aloud to drink it unless I'm BFP, that'd be the only time I'd give it up without a fuss lol. I gave them up because I heard gynseng and taurine mixed together is a spell for disaster on your over all health and they were right. Have finally been able to gain my natural energy back. :)
