Hey guys, I'm Amanda and I'm 17.
Paranoid like crazy about all these pregnancy complications every website talks about like miscarriage and other stuff.
I'm already in love with my lil bit and never stop worrying about him or her!
I guess I'm quite the hypochondriac.

Heres what's going on with me.
I'm newly engaged, got engaged when we found out we were expecting.
Breaking out worse than I ever have. Eww
already fitting snug in my favorite jeans!
On progesterone suppositories.. Kinda makes me nervous.
Totally impatient to have a sonogram. Gotta wait till the 20th.
I really want girls to talk to and share my pregnancy with

Hi hon, congratulations! I'm Daphne and I'm 18 (17 when I became pregnant) and 29 weeks pregnant with a boy.

Is there a reason youre on progesterone suppositories? I've only heard of them being used to help infertility! I'm also shocked you're having a sonogram so early along in the pregnancy. Generally, if they do one early at all, it's at 12 weeks. Unless you've had previous complications in the past, then they'll do one around 6/8 weeks.

Are you on pre-natals? I'd definitely get yourself onto those if you haven't yet. The first trimester is the most important for creating brain neurons.

Try not to stress about miscarriage. It's horrible if it happens but...it happens, and there truly isn't much you can do to prevent it or stop it from happening (somethings trigger it, but usually it's from a genetic problem caused by the misalignment of the chromosomes.). Just make sure you're eating well, not drinking or smoking....

I'm on them because my progesterone levels were a tad low. They help keep the uterin liming strong until the placenta takes over at 10 weeks or so.
I'm on one a day prenatals. Since about 5 weeks.
And I didn't really drink or smoke before I got pregnant so that's not really an issue I think they are doing a skan early to put my mind at ease and cus of the low progesterone to make sure everything is going okay. I know they'll be able to measure the heartbeat.
Do you have any names for your baby boy yet?
Your pregnant belly is beautiful! I can't wait to show

Ah that makes more sense then about your scan if you progesterone levels were low. I'd just never heard of being on it during pregnancy before!

I'm actually not sure they'll be able to get a heart beat that early. I know they can be seen at 7 weeks, but you certainly won't be able to hear it until 9+ weeks.

My baby will be Phineas Matthew, Finn for short.

Ah that pregnant belly is two weeks old! Haha. It's nice to finally have one though, it didn't pop up until about 24 weeks.

Yea my progesterone was low but hcg doubling faster than even normal. Lol so that's good.
That's what I ment is that the can see the heartbeat and measure it on the scan.
I'm sure it is nice after that long of a wait. I'm so bloated that my boyfriend swears I'm showing and I'm always having to tell him no Hun that's not baby it's just gas haha.
What were your symptoms in first tri?
I haven't been sick, just a little queasy sometimes and my boobs are always quite sore
I've cramped a little bit, but not like period cramps. More like pulling feelings. And my face is always red and I feel like I have hot flashes!

My symptoms were quite similar to yours. I never actually got sick, but felt very ill especially right before and after eating. The nausea hit the worst from weeks 7-9. I had sore nipples as well. There's definitely going to be lotsss of little crampy feelings all through pregnancy! As long as their not super intense and there's no blood though, you should be okay.

I got the hot flashes thing as well, I'd wake up in the middle of the night and be completely drenched in sweat! It was nasty.

Yea my nipples being sore gave it away that I was pregnant after I missed my period.
And I wake up sweating too, and I always feel like my palms and face are burning up.
I also get cold really easily though, especially at work.
One of the craziest things I've noticed though are dreams.
I have veryy vivid dreams since I've been pregnant, I remember them all day and usually have like 3 a night. I never dream!
My cramping has been far from intense, just noticable. Guess it's just my uterus stretching.
But actually, my sister (25) is a weak ahead of me in her pregnancy with her 2nd.
Very odd. My parents were saying they got grandbabies poppin out all over the place.
Haha. It's just different for us since she's married and has a house and already has a little girl. Can't really relate to her well.

hey im libby im 19 years old and 5 weeks 3 days pregnant, im also worried about having a m/c i had one before when i was 17, i have a scan booked for the 21st just a day after you but with the time difference of countries it is probably the same day

I know what you mean when worrying, I have had the pleasure of having 4 periods while pregnant and each time I panic'd because I thought I was losing, and it's been confirmed baby is a little trooper.

yeah dw though hun i was a bit careless back then drunk quite a bit before i knew, smoked, and drunk to much caffiene.. i was 6 weeks along so i am starting to get scared now that i am comming up to the 6 week mark.

That is such a blessing.

I try not to worry. It's just always in the back of my head.
Like I always start freaking out when my boobs don't hurt as much as the day before or whatever. I'm just still trying to take it all in and relax

progesterone supplements don't do much for infertility, they're more for ppl with low progesterone like the OP or ppl who miscarry angels. if youre infertile because its hard for baby sto stick they'll help, but if its anything else (ov, blocked tubies, DP's swimmers etc) they do nothing lol.
