Finally had my 20 week scan....

Needless SO and I are over the moon. We already have a name; Silas Edward Bond.

The ultrasound tech was in fits of laughter throughout. He refused to show his face. Butt and boy parts; oh yeah. In your face. But everytime she tried to get a look at his face he put a hand over it or wiggled away. Stinker ended up on his head trying to get away. So we're scheduled back im four weeks in hopes of seeing his face.

Hehe, I wish. My computer is fried so I can only get online with my phone and the newly developed, and very much hated, carpal tunnel flares up when typing anything lengthy. XP

Its a pain but if I do my hand and wrist stretches and wear the braces at night its not too bad. I just have a really bad habit of sleeping with my arms tucked under me so that doesnt help, lol

How did you get it? Was it from a hobbie, or did it happen naturally? Sorry if its something that is too personal. It is ok if you don't share, I will understand.

The reason I ask is because someone I once knew developed it when I was in high school. She beaded a lot, almost every second she could spare during the day. It was very painful for her. As I can imagine is the same for you a lot of the time as well.

For me its from pregnancy. Im swelling, not a lot, but its pushing on the area and causing.irritation so its techincally carpal tunnel syndrome.

Itll resolve itself after I give birth.

That is good to hear! At least it will go away eventually. I am sorry you have to go through it now though .

And kiwi, itll be worth it in the end. Little stinker was crazy last night. He usually sticks to kicking me in the bladder but moved and started to kick.me hard right below my belly button. Which is a great feeling since I have an anterior placenta but they said its already starting to move up.

I was neve aware that I had one until my scan the other day. He had already been going to town on my bladder for weeks now but very little tummy action. Something about the ultrasound tech wiggling and pushing on him got him to switch it up and he was kicking up front like mad. I tried to get SO to hurry cause I could very slightly feel the movement on the outside but the moment he leapt into bed and put his hands on me Silas stopped.

I have been feeling and feeling trying to find her kicks. No luck yet . I am jealous you are able to feel it at least a little on the outside. Silas is a lovely name btw! Oh and btw, not sure if you noticed or not but you accidentally put a 2 instead of 1 in your signature for the due date! .

Thank you, SO came up with the name on a whim and I fell in love with it. If pea would of turned out to be a girl we had picked out Lillith but I guess thatll be on the back burner for now.
