finally lost my weight

So happy right now, I have finally lost 4 stone, bmi at 29.87 and my doctor is re-referring me back to the hospital. Its been 4.5years and finally this may be it, we might get treatment. My doctor seems to think we will go straight to ivf.

I am just starting my journey of weight loss, 4 stone for me too to get into the "healthy" range.

Thanks. It has taken me a year and its been hard work but actually good too, met new friends at the gym and its really helped me overcome the depression I was getring into over ttc for so long. Hope im noy waiting to long now for the appointment.

Congratulations on the weight loss - good for you! I struggle with weight but have managed to keep my BMI just within the necessary requirements. It's a struggle but really worth it for what we really want.

Optimistic13 - I rang the eligibility line at the hospital and they said they were only interested in the females weight which is a huge releif for me. x

Im in Devon ..
Under torbay fertility Team we was both asked to get to bmi 29.9 and under : (((
Hubby has joked about moving some where else in the country to avoid all this post code lottery.
She discharged us in Aug until we reach this target.

That rubbish. I thought we had to aswell until I rang that line. Its a joke, always got a reason to refuse people.
I started following the metabolic effect diet. Its two brothers from america. Its worth looking into I have found it really good and feel great, its helped clear my mind a bit too xx

That's great you had success with that diet : ))
your well on the road to the next step of ivf which is fab !!
Its rubbish isn't it but guess we don't have any other choice as the bmi for hubby is just to low ; ((
