Hi ladies just thought I would introduce myself (been posting a bit on here the last few days 
)
I'm 40 years old and will be 41 when this baby is born in March.
I have 2 DD's from my first marriage who are 15 & 13 and never thought I would have anymore children...until I met my OH who is 32 with no children of his own.
We decided to give it one year of trying (because of my age!). We started TTC on November 2010 and got a BFP in May 2011. Sadly this ended in a horrendous MC at 6 weeks were I nearly lost my life and had a blood transfusion and emergency D&C this was on the 18th June 2010
Just 4 weeks later on the 16th July 2011 I got my BFP!!
shocked was an understatement!
I've had a few scares, mainly with spotting and suspected ectopic at 5 weeks whihc turned out to be a 7cm cyst. The cyst still remains not growing but shrinking to 6.5cm by 10 weeks. Dr's are still undecided what to do about it
Anyway...I'm very relieved to have made it here and look forward to getting know you all over the next few months
