I am 27 living in the Uk, Diagnosed with PCOS 4 years ago.
Tests carried out to determine PCOS were an ultrasound internally and normal ultrasound and a blood test that showed high LH levels.
I started suffering a year down the line this horrid pulling pain it would have me over in two.I thought it was a cyst and off i went for another ultrasound. When I came out I was told that my ovaries they looked normal. Phantom pain still to the day I am not sure what that was.
My doctor referred me anyhow to the fertility clinic but that's when the nerves set in and I pulled out of getting help (The thought of being told they cant help me stopped me)
In the past 4 months the need for a child has increased 10 fold after seeing friends and family members having their own but still I have not made an appointment to see my GP.
I feel today was the breaking point when only a day late my brain has gone into overdrive with the thought of a BFP. My fiancé and I have been actively ttc, I am now sitting here 41 days into my 40 day cycle.....
(I had that pushing feeling of a UTI yesterday and today. Possibly over thinking and reading things)
Tomorrow I am going to phone the doctors and book an appointment, Any advise or questions etc that any of you ladies can give me would be great. Is there anything my GP can do in the meantime of being referred? Can they prescribe anything? take blood to see if i have ovulated? Or is this all this that need to be done via the fertility clinic?
