finally got a house!! can't believe it, and still 5 weeks left before the baba arrives! to think we were making arrangements for where to stay when the baby was born swell, thinking we wouldn't have a house! so OH is decorating it all this week and we should be moved in by next week.. and he might have a new job, so things are definitely looking up for once, feeling hopeful
oh oh oh before i forget, does anyone know how long a community care grant takes to come through? thankyaaaa

this a council house? how long were you waiting for?
i still haven't applied. i'm scared they're guna be like THREE YEAR WAITING LIST.
also, are you allowed to decorate them how you like? x

yeahh it is a council house, we were waiting since march and got one last week so it was a long wait, but we were medium priority so that made things go a lot faster.. i think if you're low priority you can be waiting years :/
and yeah you can do whatever you want with them, except if you want to like knock down a wall you have to let them know first, you should get on the list as soon as you can, if you're still living at home you should get put on medium priority so you could have somewere by the time the baba arrives if you get luckyy!
