Finding it hard to believe I'm pregnant

My husband and I have been TTC for years. I suffer with vaginisum, making almost impossible to get pregnant. The last year I've finally seeked help and I've come along way. This month I said to my husband that this is the month we get pregnant. Well....today I took 3 pregnancy tests and they have all come back positive. Two were cheap ones that some reviewers on Amazon either loved, or hated because of false positives. Well I took a first response '6 days soon' (I'm on my Day26) And it is positive. I'm excited but it feels like its not possible. We've been trying for like 7-8 years and I've NEVER seen a positive pregnancy test. It just seems to good to be true. In the morning I'm taking another one, then I'll call the doctor Monday. But has anyone ever felt like this? When did it feel real?

Congrats. 7-8 years is a long time.

I agree with lemon_tree, while it's great that you finally got your BFP many women on this part of the forum are just like you and have been trying for at least 12 months. I find it very insensitive that you'd post here, especially since you've struggled yourself. How would you feel if you'd seen a post like this after having been trying for those 6-7 years?

It's not a troll thread! This poor lady wanted to give some hope to us ltttc, but also wanted some support. I can completely understand where she is coming from. She has been trying to conceive for a long time, and posted in a board she felt she most related to; I don't think it was malicious she was just new and not used to the forums, scared and looking for help for women who know what she's been through.. its clear from the thread title what's it's about, so don't go into the thread if it's going to upset you.
