This is my second and part of me doesn't want to know the gender. We did genetic testing because of my age and opted for the sex identification because we like to be prepared.

I'm a little anxious about finding out today. I want to know, but it also will only make a difference in a small number of baby things at first.

My first pregnancy I thought for sure I was having a boy. I love my daughter. She's such a virtual mini-me who looks like her father. But I've also always wanted a boy.

This is our last child. So a boy would be great for diversity of experience parenting. Although every child is different, so it will be a different experience regardless.

My MIL would love a boy because all her grandchildren are girls and she had only boys. I'm not sure how my husband would feel about being outnumbered. I was a daddy's girl and followed my father around the farm wanting to do everything he was doing. So I can imaging my daughter doing the same (once she gets over the mommy mommy phase).

Just thinking out loud. I could delay, but it seems odd to avoid the information.

I totally get wanting one of each! And you've a 50% chance of getting a boy after all! If it's another girl on the bright side you'll have everything you need already, they'll play so well together and you'll be doing the same carpools (like both going to ballet, instead of like ballet and soccer) and your daughter will have the sister relationship so many of us wish they had!

I've a boy now and there are so many awesome things to having a son, but since you still don't know I thought I'd cheer you on getting another girl more just in case you get another girl!

Finding out early definitely gives you plenty of time to get used to it and start picturing that life and how it'll look like! Please update us! :)

It's a boy. Everyone is excited. Makes me wonder what they would have said if it had been a girl. Ha!

Yay!! Congrats! I felt like you were leaning more towards a boy and that's FINE. Boys are awesome and so loving to their mommies!
