finding out the gender problems

Did anyone else have trouble seeing if they were having a little boy or a little girl? I had my 20 week scan last week, and they had trouble seeing but the sonographer thought it was a boy, he wasn't sure though. Today I went back so they could do a check they couldn't do last week, they had a better look and are now saying it looks like a little girl, now I don't know what to believe D: I want a 3rd opinion but don't have another scan til i'm 32 Weeks did anyone else have this?

I paid for a private gender scan at 15+4, then had 20 week scan, and another private scan at 23 weeks, all showed a baby boy.

could you afford a private gender scan? if not i guess you'll have to wait until next scan xx

I didn't find out but tbh I really wanted a boy and at my scan the legs were tight shut but because I couldn't see a willy I thought he was a girl for a day or two I'd definitely try a private scan, I've heard they let you go a walk etc or go back until they can see bits

Are you in the US or England? I think it depends. I had a 4D ultra sound for LO when I was 19 weeks and it was roughly $80 I think. They were able to easily tell that LO was a boy, his bits were flashing for us all to see! Sorry you're having a bit of a harder time!

How much is a private scan?

depends where you are, mine was £70 with a local company, but baby bond is £79. you could also have a 3d scan later in your pregnancy but for the full 45 min ones theyre like £99 they recommend them from about 24-32 weeks xx

My partner thinks the 3d ones are creepy so I probably won't go for that, might look into a normal one though... I wanna buy gender specific stuff Dx

I wasn't going to either because I thought the same. My mom surprised me and it was the best gift she could've given you wouldn't regret it. But I understand about wanting to know the gender hopefully you know soon!

I had a brainwave and googled images of gender scans, the little girl ones look exactly how mine did, so i'm quite happy to accept i'm definitely having a little daughter so excited, I can't wait til pay day so we can go and get lots of little pink vests and Sleepsuits for her

Put the scan pic up hun you can tell by this stage if you got a nub shot its pretty accurate x

They didn't give me the pics of the angle you can tell from, but I saw it on the screen (like she was sitting on the scanner thing) and there was definitely nothing male there :L

You can tell from a normal side scan that most people get hun the nub is normally visible did you not get one like that?

Yeah nothing is visible though :/ I'll see if I can post it tomorrow anyway
