i cant stop feeling really quesy, and i dont usualy eat much anyway during a day. what can i do?

If you find out, please tell me...
I feel sick for 9 weeks now,I can't eat anything and I'm dizzy.I'm going to tell this to my doctor on my newt appointment because I can't take it anymore....

the only advice i can give u is dont have an empty stomach
although this defies all human logic as u feel so sick how could u eat, having an empty stomach makes it worse. try dry crackers, or plain biscuits, soda water, peppermint or ginger tea have also been said to help some people as well as ginger ale. as hard as it is if you throw it up then u throw it up but something will go in. make sure u drink because the only thing worse than morning sickness is dehydration on top of it. everyone is different and i cant tell u when the hellish period will end but it will get easier, and for most people disappear by end of tri 1. if you throw up excessively the doctor may recommend a medication for you but for just plain old nausea were usually on our own.

I agree with Cupcake. You have to eat. Even it if it just a couple of bite, do so every hour. Try some bread, crackers or a bit of cereal. My midwife had me eat every hour to hour and half. I even would get up in the night and have something.

Aww hun im afriad to say theres not much can be done.. in most cases it does go by the second tri though!

I had the worst MS for 18 weeks and the first 14 i couldnt eat anything without throwing it back up, i ended up in hospital as i had torn my gullet through being sick so much and had to be put on anti sickness tablets Its the one thing you hate the most when pregnant yet if it goes away for a day or two in the early weeks you'll want it back just to put your mind at rest that everything is ok!

I found having a plain biscuit or some dry toast before i even got out of bed in a morning helped and eating little and often. Things like bread, plain biscuits, crackers, soups, cereal are good.

Good luck, hope you dont have it too long! :)

xx

ginger biscuits are ment to work and digestives. xx

Used to have bad morning sickness, ginger biscuits really help! Ginger tea as well. Like everyone says, it's not good to have an empty stomach, it makes it worse! It's one of the not so fun part of first trimester ;)

Just take it easy, hope you get better :hugs:

Ginger biscuits!

I once went on a hovercraft to Jersey and shamefully filled 2 sick bags

However on the way back I polished off half a pack of ginger biccies, and felt absolutely fine - it was better than any sickness pills I have ever taken!

Also recommended it to my friend during her 1st trimester, and it really helped her.

Hope this helps :happydance:
