..that today will be my last MW appointment!

i can't believe im 38 weeks already. these past few weeks have flew by for me!
woooop!

UPDATE: just back from my appointment. his head still isn't engaged
even though im feeling pressure down there ALL the time. i think he must pop in and pop back out again!

im booked for a sweep 2 weeks today, which is on my due date. she said i will get induced at 41+5 if he isn't here yet, which im REALLY hoping i wont need to worry about.

told her about my cramps, which have been getting worse nightly and she just said it's my body getting ready. but is a good sign that he will be here in the next couple of weeks, so fingers crossed!!

im not too sure, i remember asking ages ago, and she just said when your 40 weeks plus. my next appointment will be my due date, so maybe i'll get one then? im going to ask her today, and ask when i will get induced if i go overdue, which im totally DREADING!

Sorry his head isn't engaged yet, but that can happen anytime!
Good news about having a sweep on your due date, hopefully you won't have to and he will make his appearance a little earlier!

Fingers crossed you won't have to be induced and you go into labour naturally!!

I was terrified of the sweeps and of having to be induced, I was begging her to come out before I would need to be induced. In the end I had two sweeps, just grin and bare it girls, it doesn't take long and it might be all that's needed to get your LOs moving. It's not exactly a pleasant experience, it's more uncomfortable. Was a bit painful for me too, but I coped twice , um where was I, oh yeah and a few days after the second sweep, I started going into labour naturally. I WAS BOOKED FOR INDUCTION THE DAY AFTER! I was terrified. It's typical LO will wait till the last day before induction before they decide they want to meet mummy

awww.. hopefully it's your last one
buttt i dunno if this helps, but my mum said neither me or my brother engaged until she went into labour... and my mum's friend said that her daughter was engaged for over a month - it just made walking REALLY uncomfy!...
so you never know you could be a labour engager!!
