i had to go and turn off a house alarm very high pithced - however there was a problem and it went on for about half an hour

i'm so worried about my litle one as it was a high pitched noise

i'm sure baby can hear clearly now - even my ears hurt

anyone have any advice? do babys get checked for heairng when they are born?

From what I can remember, hearing is checked at birth and at the 6/8 week follow up check too, although if you have concerns I would imagine they would check in between this if you are that worried.

I wouldnt have thought that it would cause much of an issue now, as babies are all nicely protected in water, and have our skin around them too, so the noise would be fairly muffled.

loud noises shouldnt damage babys ears, might have given them a bit of a start but there really well cushioned in there so was probably pretty quite xx
