After almost a year and a half of not conceiving, my husband and I had IUI done this morning with his sperm. We have been diagnosed with unexplained infertitlity. We did fail the post coital test 3 times, so my OB/GYN referred us to a fertility specialist. She started me on Clomid 50mg days 3-9 (even though I ovulate regularly on my own). I had an ultrasound yesterday and they saw 3 mature follicles plus one other lg one, but it might be a cyst from the Clomid. I was given the hcg injection yesterday. We went this morning for the IUI. His count was really good. The nurse was very knowledgable. The process wasn't too uncomfortable. Now we wait for 2 long weeks. Hoping this is the month we will finally get a BFP!

I got pregnant the first time w IUI...so it can happen on the first go. Hope it does.

I had my second IUI on Wednesday with 3 large follies too so we'll be in the 2ww together!

I have been diagnosed with mild endo, but both tubes are open and I ovulate well. DH has super sperm so we are very lucky in some ways but we've been trying for 12 months with no success. Unfortunately, I have also been through all this before with my ex husband and never got pregnant, although our problem then was male factor. Had 6 IUIs with frozen donor sperm then so I'm hoping I'll have better success now.

Are you taking progesterone supplements at all? This is my first month on them so I'm hoping they'll make a difference.

Wishing you loads and loads of luck. Happy to share the 2ww agony with you until hopefully we get our :bfp:s!!!

Hi Wanting more. I also am on my 1st IUI this month. on d10piui. All the best. A lot of women do get pregnant the first time. I found out from the clinic where I got this done. Are u on progesterone supplements? Ours is male factor infertility, DH has below average count and motility. I also had to to take letrozole day 2-6 even though I ovulate normally and my ovulation is very regular. Had 2 follies one on each ovary.

I am not on progesterone supplements. That wasn't ever mentioned at any of my appts. We are now on the countdown....8 more days til I am supposed to test. Praying so hard for a BFP this month....for me and my bnb friends!

Oh I'll keep everything crossed for you too!!!

I'm exactly half way through my two week wait with our first IVF. Oooh let's hope the end of Feb sees lots of BFPs in this section!!!!

hi we too have unexplained fertility.....& have been ttc 18 mths.....i am currently on 4th cycle of clomid & due on next tues.....had a lap & dye on 3rd feb...all fine, starting to get the ususal back aches i get b4 af arrives...take it im not preg again :( we are going to have our 2nd consultation on 3rd march to discuss iui.....last time we had to register with them, we need to make sure we have all our test results ready for this 2nd consultation so we can discuss the best route for us...hoping iui is an option as its so much cheaper than ivf1! doubt we will ever be able to afford to do that as we have a 4 year old dd!

good luck...let us all know how you get on & if you get a bfp.....really hope u do, its lovely hearing success stories xxx

Best wishes to all who've responded to my post. Praying for lots of BFP's for us IUI'ers and IVF'ers this month
