First Christmas alone as a family excited and nervous

As title says first for us six staying home and not going to family or having family here

Looking forward to a chilled day with no rush or timescale

Haven't been on own since it was just us

I don't see my mum every xmas day but she's getting older and I think I might miss her a bit

On the plus side the kids are really excited

This is our 2nd time on our own & the first time was last year. We loved it. We were able just to focus on each other & our son & it was awesome! I hope your first time is, as well....

I am so jealous...we were alone last year and it was so lovely. No rush to get dressed, kids had all day to open presents and play.

This year we are getting dragged to family again which I'm sure will be good when we get there but I can't help but feel sad about having a rushed and unenjoyable day again and saying things like no kids you can't play with that awesome present you just opened cos we need to get dressed to go out... x
