First clomid cycle...anyone else????

I have read that most of you ladies have completed your first round and are starting on your second. But i thought i would join you as iam starting all of this for the first time and i am on cd3 and i already hate the waiting game.

A little about me, i was lucky enough to fall pregnant with my first child after a year and a half of trying naturally. However that was now 10yrs ago and i have had a divorce and been remarried since then. So Hubby and i have been trying now for over a year and with my age being over 35 it was time to get tested and work out why it hasn't happened yet. to find out that my girls don't like boy germs

So went to see the gyn last week and he said that a course of Clomid 25mg on day 5-9 is where we should start so hurry up thursday cause i want to get this show on the road.... as i said i hate waiting!!!

I'm on day 4 of clomid so far only major side effect is eye sensitivity
I may also be a little hormonal lol!

I was really hormonal this round on day 4 and 5.. I couldn't even let my husband touch me because it annoyed me... no fun!


I'm definitely better now just waiting for ovulation!

I start taking the medications tonight, little exicited and nervous at the same time. I can't help but looking at baby items such as prams etc. Hubby just tells me I am getting ahead of myself. I just can't help myself

This is my first clomid cycle and I am now 4 dpiui. I think I lucked out as far as not having any side effects. I kept braving myself for them. Pretty hopeful though as this is the first time I felt my ovaries around ovulation time.

Hi ladies!

I'm now cd 12 last month I ovulated cd 17 so I've still got a few days of waiting left....

How is everyone else holding up? Any exciting symptoms?

My best friend is now 6 days past her due date! I keep telling her it's because her baby is waiting for me to ovulate this month so that we can technically have overlapping pregnancies she just wants to be not pregnant anymore!

I have high hopes for us this month! Are you temping this month? I'm just using opk because they are easy and I don't have to spend a lot of time analyzing the chart. I just know my obsessive personality would have me spending way more time then necessary searching the internees for clues that I could be preggers!

Anything exciting happening to keep you distracted from all the waiting?

I am temping but this time once ovulation is confirmed I am stopping I tend to over analyze and not sleep due to stress over temps lol

I am getting new appliances tomorrow lol! And thankgiving dinner on Sunday '

Day three of meds and I am ready to bite my sons 10yr head off and the cramps tha come and go are worse than when AF is here

Oh no, Kira! That sounds aweful! I'm so sorry it's affecting you so negatively! Hopefully it goes away once the meds are done! Hang in there!

Bazz-- new appliances sound like a ton of awesome coming your way! Is it everything (range/oven, fridge, dishwasher) or just a couple?

It's kinda a slow time right now for me. My hubby is switching to two weeks of nights at the hospital starting Wednesday or Thursday. I have a late meeting at school on Thursday.... So we won't see each other at all that day. I am going on a youth retreat in two weekends with the kiddos at church and hubby has two weeks off work once the nights are over, so that is something to look forward to! It's all just happening AFTER (or towards the end of) the tww (naturally)

I've had a headache pretty much since I've stopped taking meds :-/ Hubby says to drink more water and stretch (since my neck and back are also hurting). Hopefully it helps!
