After my af arriving 5 days early for the first time last cycle I am trying my first ever cycle of Soy Isoflavones starting today which is cd 3 for me. I am planning to do 3- 7 and am hoping this works for me as I have been reading some gr8 reviews from ladies who have tried this and got their bfps! I am on my 16th cycle ttc so I have almost tried it all.

If anyone else is trying out soy this cycle you're welcome to join so we can compare notes esp in the tww!

It's not official yet but I think AF is coming this week, I am in my second round of soy, did cd5-9 last month going to try cd3-7, I just don't know the amounts as yet,

Welcome DolphinLeigh!!!

Well I really hope your af doesn't show! But if she does goodluck with the second cycle. I started with 120 last night which was cd 3. Going to do 120 tonight, 160 on cd 5 and 6 and going to finish with 200 on the last day.

Fingers crossed we get lucky with soy this cycle!! How long have you been ttc?

Well, I hope not but the bding I don't think was in the window of opportunity, so now just waiting for AF, if not here by Friday (if I can wait that long) I will take a hcg test but what upsets me is that I did opk this cycle and never got anywhere near a positive, so maybe I never o'ed at all, everything was faint or not at all, first three pregnancies ( the successful, one miscarriage) I had no trouble catching the eggs, do the deed on the 14 th day after AF started and bam preggo, now that I am tracking I can't catch an egg at all :(

I find opk's don't really work for me... Do u temp at all? I have never gotten a positive opk ever always close but never even as dark as the control. I do find temping works for me, at least to confirm ovulation with a temp shift.

As for bd'ing... All it really takes is one. And some of those spermies can really live quite a while once they're safe in there! But the worst thing right now is time... Only time will tell. Wish it would just hurry up already and give us our bfps!!!

Also speaking of time, as we get older I guess our bodies change a lot and so do our cycles. Frustrating 4th? As if women don't have enough to deal with already! Hang in there for now and let me know how you get on. If af does show up, just think of it as you're one month closer to your bfp! :hugs:

It was first month using opk, going to try again next month but my temperature is usually spot on so will continue doing both, yeah I am hoping those spermies found a place to live but three/four days is pushing if I think....... And yeah I am 37 and it is def harder this time around days I am tracking everything and it is do frustrating, fingers crossed for BFPs all around :)

Hi! Waiting on AF at the moment and then my DH and I will finally be "actively trying" for #2. My luteal phase has been absolutely terrible since DS was born so we are going to do one cycle without anything but if nothing happens (and I doubt it will) I will be all about the soy iso for the sept cycle :D

Hi Southernbound welcome anyway! :laugh2:

Will you be trying anythin to lengthen or strengthen your luteal phase? I am gonna be trying natural progesterone cream from 3dpo and vit b6 once I'm in the tww to help my luteal phase.

Fingers crossed for you and all the luck! Let us know how things turn out

Thanks! I've been on B complex vit for a few months now and it's actually helped. My LP had been 8-9 days and the last three months its been steady at a solid 10 so probably going to continue on that :) I hope the progesterone and b6 helps you!

Hi Ladies,

I am going to be switching over to the Soya Isoflavones Cycle Buddies! <3 thread, ladies who are taking soy will be listed and we will see the outcomes of taking soy!

You are welcome to join, hope to see you there!
