First fertility clinic appointment uk

Hi girls,

Just a question for you all....I have my first appointment at the fertility clinic in two weeks time, I am nervous but "looking forward" to it...it's been a long journey to get to this point, and I just wonder what is likely to happen? Wll it just be talking then more waiting for the next step?

I'm diagnosed as having PCOS, and already take metformin, so I know the next step for me will be clomid, which will probably mean aan HSG....just wondering will I leave with an Rx for clomid...or will I have to have bloods and scans repeated before then? My cycles can be as long as 90days apart, so as you can imagine I don't really want to have to wait for CD1 again before I can move forward.

Just feels like such a long process sometimes, it is so frustrating.

hi, i just wanted to post quick reply, as far as my first time at fertility clinic (few years ago now) im sure when i went it was all questions then i was sent away to have hsg then a scan then started taking comid i was given perscription on second ap but was quick process in my case i then ended up going on a blind trial so has all been strait forward up to now, as for periods mine were really unpredictable they can give you provera to start a fresh bleed with clomid.

i understand about the long process ive been trying 6 years under fertility 4 years stil no bfp for me!
