First FS appointment on February 15th! Any advice?

Hi everyone,

We got the phone call this morning for our first fertility specialist appointment. It is February 15th so hopefully we find out an actual experts opinion on morphology and figure out my weird cycles. That said, because we are in Canada, this is the only fertility clinic in the city and we waited 3 months to get in so hopefully we like the FS and they are helpful too us. My biggest fear is they send us away with no real help, except to "keep trying".

Next SA is on February 6th... so hopefully some improvements. It will be more detailed as well so hopefully nothing new shows up there....What does a more detailed one include, does anyone know?

Well on your first FS appointment all they will do is tests and ask questions about you ttc history ect they won't really advise anything until all tests have been carried out and results are in good luck I hope you get some answers.

Whereabout in Canada?im in Ontario. I just had my first a month ago today. They took history reviewed that and any pregnancies etc. they did a physical swab and sent me and dh for blood tests. We also booked my hsg test.


I have my 2nd appt Tuesday. I'm having ultrasound then and dh I'll have to another sa which isn't covered by ohip

I'm in uk and have my first f/s on the 24th of Feb, we have had to have all the tests done before we go see the f/s. Bloods x2 and s/a x2 so i'm hoping when we go in they will not want to repeat it all again and just get me on some sort of medication x
