Not sure if this is in the right place, but I didn't know where else to put it.
I recently had an ultrasound on my ovaries and it showed that they were enlarged, my doctor told me that i definitely have PCOS and has referred me to a gynaecologist (nhs). I'm waiting for my appt but I'm just wondering what I should expect to happen? We have been TTC for 5 years, I was diagnosed with pcos via blood test, (i had no signs on the ultrasound. So was diagnosed with just the syndrome in 2010) and put on metformin. It didn't agree with me so I was unable to take it, so now I'm hoping because I showed signs of PCOS on the ultrasound, that they may offer me something else.
