First name ending with first letter of last name?

How bad is it for a first name to end with the first letter of the last name?

Specifically, we like Zeke, but our last name starts with "k." I worry that if the kid said their full name it would just sound like "Zee" with our last name, or they would have to over pronounce it to clarify the two "k" sounds in a row.

Am I overthinking this?

I think it just depends on the name.

I'm actually having the same issue with the name "Pearl"... our last name starts with L.
