So I'm starting to think of names a little early so that it doesn't sneak up on me. I've always known that I would name a daughter in honor of my mother, Ellen by naming her Elena. This is kind of set in stone. But I am having trouble with the middle name. My SO and I have discussed that since both of our brothers are named Michael we would give a boy that middle name, but we can't come up with a first name that we both like. We also considered Michelle as a middle name for Elena, but I'm not loving it.
So basically, I need suggestions for middle names that go with Elena and first names to go with Michael.
My stepson's name is Joseph and we call him Jay (he's a junior so we call him by his nickname). So Joseph is off the table and anything that is too similar to Jay (like Jake, or Jason) because we don't want the kids to get confused about who we are talking to.
