first period off the pill

Okay so i had a bleed on the 16th jan, and have heard that the first bleed is "fake"? I had no problems although it was a day late.
anywho i've now come on again, 5 days later than expected, really heavy and really painful cramps.
is it normal to have painful cramps on the first "real" bleed?

I had really bad cramps and headache the night before I came on and I never suffered with period pains before I was pregnant so maybe it is normal I have no idea lol sorry im no help

When I first came off my pill I was the same as you. My first 'proper' period I had cramps and pain which were more severe than when I was on the pill. So to me what you're experiencing is normal if that helps??!

Yeah coming off the pill can make funny things happen for a while. Hopefully it won't last too long and you'll be back to normal soon.
