First Response Fertility Test

6 months but I've conceived twice and lost both got pregnant in june lost it in july got pregnant again right away lost that one end of august...

so wots the test suppose to look like ?cos it looks dark2me, as for ur temps as long as ur chart shows O it doesnt matter, my temps are like urs and i had bloods recentley and all was fine, where did u get these tests frm ?x

It's supposed to be light you want it the opposite of an OPK more so like the worlds faintest HPT line.... anything dark close to the control line is bad
Anyone else ever taken one at it be wrong or have something else going on???
Any more thoughts??

I dunno for sure, but I see this is in the store and I would never buy it...I just don't trust anything over the counte to tell me something like that, ya know? There are so many reasons this could be off...including your MCs, which really weren't that long ago. I would relax until your appointment. Even if they can't do a CD3 test they can still test your FSH. If it's seriously elevated it will remain so no matter which cycle day, right? So you'll get answers soon.

Hi. I'm new here, I was just searching for info about this test and maybe some pics to compare. I found your thread and went to make an account, but it said I had one already though. Anyway, I'm here.

I guess today is your dr appointment. I already had the orders for my CD3 FSH test since a few weeks ago, of course just waiting for CD3 which is today. For my own benefit, not sure how, I took a FRER Fertility Test with FMU just so I could put a color to a number. I have a pic of my test, can someone give me easy instructions to post? I'll have my result in 2 days.

From what I've read, there are lots of girls getting dark lines and still have normal blood work. I read several posts on another forum, and the range seems to be anywhere from 6-10 even with really dark lines. There was one girl who even had a line darker than the control line and conceived that cycle. So, I think that we shouldn't read too much into it.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere to post pics with results or outcomes? Like where I could post a pic and my test result, or for that lucky lady that got her bfp that makes a strong statement. It seems like a lot of girls are getting worked up over this test. I think it's good if it motivates us to get to the dr sooner if that's what is needed, but it also causes a lot of undue stress.

Thank you! To post your picture just go adavanced and upload it!! My doctor ordered a cd3 test for me but that is next cycle I am hoping to be pregnant. He honestly didn't look to concerened so that made me feel so much better!! I think if I do get my period I am going to get another test just to compare like you said I would very much love for you to post your picture here!!! I will even rename the thread so that others can see it and compare! I truly hope you get good blood results sweetie!!!!! If you could please post that info that would be wonderful! Thank you bunches!!!!

Here's my pic, I'm hoping thus works. I still haven't heard from my dr but they said most likely it would be Thursday. I'm trying so hard not to worry but we all know how that goes.

Oh, I don't have the pic on my computer anymore, I delete everything after I upload it to photobucket or else my dh or kids would find it and think I've gone crazy or something. I think our tests are really close. Did you by chance use fmu but went to the br during the night? It makes your urine more concentrated. It also said to hold at least 4 hours, I did right at 4 hours. I did one a couple of months ago but it wasn't nearly this dark but I know I'm out of whack. I'm 40 and still breastfeeding my 2yods. It doesn't surprise me that I had 2 tests so different. It's just got to be okay, right? I'm praying so hard.

I'm praying with you and for you if you'd like! I didn't pee through the night so that was a 8 plus hour hold so yes very very concentrated. I will say my doctor didn't seem too concerned and actually giggled at the idea of menopause when I said it (I am 25) so that did make me feel better he said that there are so many things that can mess with the pituitary gland so that can elevate fsh. He did order me a day 3 blood test though and I was grateful for that! I wonder if breastfeeding can elevate fsh due to all the hormones I mean if BCP and MC and other things can why not breast feeding??

It's so unlikely that you would have a problem so young. Breastfeeding increases prolactin and should supress fsh, and I've slowed him way down. It seems logical that a mc could go either way. I think that bfp would also supress fsh too. The mc, I think that prolactin would increase directly after and then when it would drop suddenly and the fsh would come back. Grrr, hormones are a pain and they are so finicky. On kellymom it explained how prolactin affects the other hormones, that's the only part I feel sure about. Why couldn't the put a color range is equal to a number range like they do on ph paper. Sigh.

I agree it needs to be a digital test that measures a color range green is good yellow is iffy and red is bad lol

This is Megg's test from my other thread GalleryOtests in the pregnancy test section... she took this for me on day 4 of her cycle knowing that her results were around 3miu on day three. This test is really light so I am hoping we have wiggle room! Plus I hope we can help other ladies worried about this!

Wow. Hers was reall light. Fsh increases during the follicular phase so it would have been lighter still on cd3.

I just called for the result, she was hesitant because the dr hadn't looked at them yet. My fsh is 7.9 and my estradiol is 37. He said under 10 is good, I'm trying to focus on that but it still seems high to me.
