well i just went to a small pharmacy and had a 1.00 coupon off any answer tests. i got a 2 pack with one free in it for 7.00 total. thats a deal.. everywhere else sells them like 12.00-13.00. and they're good until 2013. are these any good? .. i really didnt feel like spending another almost 20.00 for 3 first response tests again.. theyre answer early result tests.. i got a very faint line on a frer yesterday and today.. how do these compare to frer's?

seems frer is darker

If you have enough of them, I would suggest taking both at the same time with the same pee tomorrow morning with FMU and doing a little test to see which one is darker!

I'm in the same boat as you right now lol...I should've started af today but I bought an Answer test cus I had $2 off coupon, but I can't tell if there's a line or not?? And I figured if there would be one, it should be more noticeable lol....but I swear Answer & FRER are the same brand....my eyes aren't the greatest and I can't tell if that's line on either of yours..good luck to ya, fingers xxxx

This is the only way I was able to pull something out of the tests and I see something this way, but I don't know if it's an evap or a true BFP.

Answer test are just as amazing as first response! I love the answer test, and its what I always bought. I took an answer and frer the same day and both came out with dark lines 13dpo.
You can actually find them at walmart (if your in the US) for 7.00 and sometimes they have a bonus extra test in them.

I took an Answer test and a Frer within hours of each other and the Answer test was the one with the darker line.

answer brand tests are not as sensitive as FRER. I got faint lines on FRER with my chemical last cycle.. And my blood test HCG was well under 25miu.. I think answer brand sensitivity is between 50-100miu.. So about the same as a digital.. FRER will definitely give you a positive before answer will! GOOD LUCK!!:)

Actually Answer tests detect 25 mui, the same that is listed for FRER.

From my personal experience, they are not as sensitive.. FRER picked up my HCG when it was only 9 and answer did not. And I know another lady on here whos HCG was only 11 and FRER picked it up. I think FRERs are even more sensitive than 25miu.. Just my opinion though.

Oh yeah they might be, I just know that they're both listed as 25 mui. I think I've heard that Frer has sometimes picked up 12 mui.

I used answer brand tests with this pregnancy...alot of them. I started getting lines on them at 10 dpo...and not lines that that you had to squint to see...they were faint but clearly there...I think they work just fine from personal experience.

yea, I looked on peeonastick.com and your rite about answer, they are 25miu but FRER (the older ones, which I have) say 12.5miu. And the newer FRER say 25miu. So confusing LOL

I prefer answer over first response... the answer and dollar tree brand told me this pregnancy before first response, the FRER always seemed to have lines off to the side too...

i LOVE answer tests. and much cheaper than frer. I got my first obvious bfp this time with an answer test on 10 dpo. :)

everyone has there own preference LOL
Sorry if my post sounded rude.. I was in no way being snotty!! and I am not sure why it posted twice.

Oh I didn't think you were being snotty at all! I've been using the new frer and answer back and forth and I like the answer better just because it seems to produce a thicker line. I bet the old frer are pretty good!
