First scan today at 6 weeks...

And we saw baby and a heartbeat! I literally burst in to floods of tears. We've had 3 miscarriages this year and in the whole process we've only ever had good news once out of 5 previous scans so I was an absolute nervous wreck! Usual practice is to charge for each picture but she gave us one for free cause in her words 'you've had an awful rough time of it this year so here's your bit of hope'



It is my birthday on Sunday and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better birthday or Xmas present ever. I'm over joyed!

We bought an ultrasound frame from babies r us that says "Love at First Sight" on it and it's on the night stand by dh side of the bed with her 7 week scan picture in it. She truly is our rainbow baby.

Congrats on seeing the heartbeat! Keep that bean cooking for 7 more months!
