First Scan

I am now 4 weeks and 5 days and I went to the doctor last week to confirm pregnancy and just wanted to find out how long after going to GP will the midwife be in contact? How long before my first scan?

ive heard around 8 weeks but the hospital i go to are happy to do a scan at whatever stage once they know you are deffinatly pregnant so push it if ud like one earlier on i had mine at 6 weeks x

hey, congrats!

i didnt get a letter from the hosp till i was 10 weeks for my 12 week scan... tho i didnt go docs till i was 7 wks but still i think thats about normal.

I guess if I havent heard anything by the second week of Jan, I shall call. That would make me around 8-9 weeks

Although going to the docs tomorrow as been spotting and a little worried
