I will be doing IUI for the first time next Wednesday. I am currently on Femara for the first time also after 4 unsuccessful months on Cloumud. Does anyone have any advice for IUI. I talked with my doctor and she said all the pineapple and warm diet advice are myths but will not hurt. Has anyone had success with IUI? I'm worried it will not work and was cannot afford IVF . Also is it horrible to give yourself the trigger shot? We have been trying for 4 years and are ready to give up. Thanks.

The trigger shot wasn't so bad but I did that only one time. After that, I couldn't mentally cope so I took a very long break. I tried 2 IUIs, all paid out of pocket - 1st one was natural cycle, didn't work. 2nd one was medicated, didn't work. I haven't tried any more IUIs after that point due to finances.
