Hello I am new to trying to conceive.

This is my first official cycle. I did not chart this cycle as I am only just getting used to it. but I had ovulation pains on the 2th October. My DH and I do the deed on the 30th,1st,2nd,3rd,5th,6th,7th,8th.

I did have a LAP for removal of Cyst and Endo on the 21st of September. Which I have been told to count as start of my new cycle.
I am taking 800mcg of folic acid a day and DH is taking 400mcg.

My question to you ladies is:

I have to following symptoms:
- Nausea and Vomitting 24/7
- Headaches and dizziness
- Fatigue
- Werid Cravings (Brocoli and Ice cream)

But I have been testing for a week and they have all been negative.

Is it possible to have symptoms and a negative test?

Thanks Ladies

Typically we don't symptom spot on the forums, just because no one wants to get anyone's hopes up based on symptoms - which can most of the time mimic pms symptoms. Do you know when your expected period is? Personally I would recommend charting - its an easy way to tell when you've ovulated, and with apps like Fertility Friend it will also give you a score on how likely you are to get pregnant that month. If that was ovulation pain you felt you would have a pretty good chance (4/5 possible fertile days). If your finding a lot of BFNs I would recommend waiting a week and then testing - sometimes your HCG levels are too low for a pregnancy test to detect.

Hello I am new to trying to conceive.

Also, if you had ovulation pains on 2nd (and you think you ovulated on the 2nd), then the BD 5th onward won't do anything. I agree with PP though, OPK/charts is very helpful especially if you do want to symptom spot so you can at least say, 9DPO I started getting nauseated, then you can compare symptom with others on the forum.

Also if you did ovulate around the 2nd, then you're probably way past your expected period? So you should either be testing positive or getting your period. Your symptoms look good but it really could just be regular progesterone acting up.
