Every thinks I'm crazy but I can't help feeling like I'm running out of time. Perhaps it is just a fear, or perhaps it is intuition. Either way I am almost 12 weeks into my first pregnancy (I'm 35), and I'm already planning the pregnancy of my second child!

I have to say that I do not appreciate all the Over 35 Warnings and red flags that everyone starts throwing at us the minute we start talking baby. I wonder how much everyone else's hype has to do with influencing my own. To be honest I feel perfectly comfortable being pregnant "at my age." I feel the time is right. I'm emotionally and mentally ready. I got to grow up first and I think that was important.

Yes, not just you! I have just had my little girl and can't wait to do it all again, hopefully there will be less than 2 years between them. I'm 37 now so really want the next one to come before I'm 40 but not due to people pointing out my age. I had the risk factor of a high bmi as well as my age so next time I'll be lighter and at a healthy bmi before ttc.

Hi, I feel the same as you (but I'm a few years on as I'm 39 this April). The "over 35" warnings do cause fear somewhat, but for me now was the right time and to be honest so far I feel great; I'm still exercising, all my tests and bloods have been good.....so I'm not complaining at all. I do, however, have a little worry at the back of my mind about trying to fit #2 in, though I really can't stress myself about that at this stage...we'll see once we've had this one, but if we do want to go for a second we won't have much time to hang around x
