First Visit to an NYC IVF Clinic

Hi Everyone,

I just thought I'd share to all of you my experience.

CD1 - Jan. 13, called the clinic for inquiries
CD2 - Jan. 14, clinic called and arrange for an appointment
CD3 - Jan. 15, went in, gave insurance info, copies of my HSG, SA, Mamo, paps and previous blood test results, Then they did evaluation, blood drawing and Sonograph. Specialist gave prescriptions for Clomid and BC pill to be taken for 10 days. 2 hours later (on my way home) they called me re the results (numbers are good).

CD12 - Jan. 24, start of monitoring. Hopefully IVF procedure starts before end of Jan.

With my first Doc, I waited a month to hear from her the results of all tests done. I could not believe I wasted my time with such service and playing phone tag for 6 months. I am so glad I found this clinic and how fast the turnaround is.

hey Millana, I'm in new york too and also doing IVF. Where are you getting your treatment if you don't mind me asking? I'm at Columbia. You should join the Four Leaf Clover thread- we're all going through IVF/ICSI and it's good to have people to support and listen.

I go to New Hope in Park Ave. Thanks for the invite to Four Leaf Clover, I will definitely join. Being that we are doing IVF (last resort, if you will) meant we have gone through alot of frustrations and heartbreaks, we indeed need support.
