Yey I´ve just bought my first woven wrap!! I had a stretchy before but now my LO is 6 months and I want to wear her on my back.
Can I ask how do you wear them in to make them softer?? Also I have tried it out with her on my back and it really hurt my shoulders, is this because it is still stiff or i´m not used to it??

I´ll get a pic of me wearing her when she wakes up. :)

It's lovely!

For breaking it in there's washing it, braiding it (look on YouTube), sitting on it places (car, house), using it as a hammock (YouTube!), and probably some other ways. Also using it to wrap will break it in too.

As far as the shoulder pain, could be how you had her carried, or if the wrap was scrunched on shoulders, or maybe because its brand new like you said? Maybe post a pic and we can check it out.

Beware, it is addictive - I just bought a second one the other day and already considering what my next will be

Ooh, I have the ring sling in that fabric! I haven't had any problems with it being stiff though.

That is a lovely colour :) good luck with it, I really hope you enjoy it :) I'm really struggling with my Storch Inka at the moment so I hope you find it easier to break in than I am!

Thanks for the advice! I tried a different way and it is much more comfortable. Before I think it was the backpack carry and this is the double cross carry. Just took the dogs out for a walk and she fell asleep straight away! :happydance:

Siuan Love the Inka too but they didn´t have it in the shop and I was too impatient to wait hehe. I´m currently plaiting it and looking up other ways to break it in. Do you know how long it takes??

I don't know how long it takes unfortunately!! I should probably make more effort with mine, but as I have a MT that I just grab when needed I have to admit the Storch has kinda just become a decoration on the sofa more than anything else.. not good!!
